Each device connected to PrivateLAN receives 1 full-duplex 10/100 Mbps connection running over a Category 5e (Cat-5e) crossover or patch cable, depending on the type of device. PrivateLAN bandwidth usage is unmetered. This service is useful for topologies where it's beneficial to privately and securely network multiple devices.
