Swiftway, a leading European provider, is developing a new webhosting service. The service is basically a large shared server - but every client has a dedicated hard drive and a dedicated unmetered 100 mbit connection. The service is only for webtraffic and the platform does not support other services. Since its a unique shared server - we believe this service falls under the category shared hosting / VPS / other hosting. It does have VPS elements and elements of other type of hosting as well. The technology - Each client has a dedicated harddrive - Each hard drive has dedicated 100 mbit unmetered to the Internet. - Multiple harddrives are possible, hardware raid is possible. - Managed platform - clients do not have SSH access. - OS: FreeBSD with a jail for each user. - Webserver: NGinx witg fastCGI support - Supported modules: PHP, RUBY. PYTHON - Supported database: Postgresql or MySQL Each client will have 1 dedicated IP. There is no web control panel. This service is specifically interesting to host a large site (ie: youtube like services) - legal adult content is allowed, but torrent or downloads of 3rd party copyrighted content is not allowed (ie: warez). For this service we look for BETA testers. BETA testers will get 25% monthly discount on the commercial prices of this service for as long as we are in the BETA test stage of this new service. The BETA stage will last for at least 3 months. The location is the Netherlands. After the BETA stage, we will also deploy this platform in various other locations. Pricing: - BETA testers will receive 25% discount on below stated pricing. The Beta phase will take at least 3 months. Minimum contract term: 3 months. Payment in advance.
