INFRASTRUCTURE
InvokeVM servers are colocated at the Tierpoint (formerly Colo4) datacenter in Dallas, TX. The facility offers true 2N power and multi-homed connectivity from Tier 1 carriers. Here are some key points why Tierpoint provides InvokeVM clients with the best possible service:
- The facility is SSAE 16 SOC 1 audited.
- There is 2N power redundancy through four (4) autonomous power plants. If power fails, there are six (6) backup diesel generators on standby tested weekly and routinely run at full load, with onsite fuel of over 50,000 gallons capacity.
- Multiple layers of security and authenication are based at the faciility, including card key, PIN and biometrics required for facility entrance. There is also full CCTV surveillance backed up for 90 days.
- Technicians are on-site 24x7x365, ready to respond to any situation.
- The high-performance IP Managed premium network has multi-homed connectivity from Tier 1 carriers with a DWDM connection to the Dallas INFOMART.
- InvokeVM takes advantage of the premium connections to Level 3, Internap and Zayo (previously AboveNet). The datacenter is carrier-neutral.
HARDWARE
InvokeVM's physical servers are made up of the best specifications while maintaining the lowest price possible for clients. No component in our servers have been used before; all of the components (even the hard drives) are brand new.
To ensure security and reliability, we use a cloud server with redundancy for the SolusVM control panel seperately from our hypervisors, which have the one task of running the VPSes. Therefore, our hypervisors dedicate all of their full resources into running the VPSes.
